DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
It is a massage technique that mobilizes the tissues in depth by working on the fascias (1). The principle is to stretch these structures which surround all our muscles and our viscera, which, by repercussion due to their entanglement, will act on the muscles and adhesions .
It is therefore a very slow work which is done preferably without oil , at an angle such that the depth is not vertical, but at 45° to the tissues , thus not producing any crushing (as is often found in Swedish massage or sports massage) but rather intense stretching .
Emphasis is also placed on working on trigger points , these more or less extensive areas that restrict the capacities of our muscles.

Particularly beneficial
for the sporty who create micro-tears in their muscles when practicing them, so that scar tissue does not have time to become adhesions
at anyone suffering from particularly tense areas , whatever their origin (stress, poor posture, excess or lack of physical activity, accident, etc.)
Note: other more therapeutic methods also act on these fascias, such as the Mézières or Rolfing method or the Feldenkrais and Alexander methods.
(1)
All connective tissues (rich in collagen).
From an anatomical point of view, we know that the muscles are united by the play of the fascias which constitute a real fibrous skeleton. Their viscoelasticity explains why they can both transmit the demands of neighboring muscles, and therefore play an essential role in coordination, and keep track of excessive tensions - especially chronic ones - in the form of densification. Richly innervated, they provide a leading proprioceptive function. Rather than a muscle chain, it would therefore be better to speak of myofascial tension chains.
(…)
The myofascial chains constitute a real memory of the body, which affects the postural scheme. The tonic fixations and fascial densifications are to be understood in relation to this history which is that of our gestures, attitudes, but also of our emotions, and of the images which affect us.

The session •
In Rognonas or at home around Avignon
It is rare to design an entire session based solely on these techniques, but it is possible by focusing on tense areas (back, legs, etc.). Most of the time this is integrated, between 10% and 90%. time in the session as needed.
It ideally lasts 1h30 and is preferably practiced without oil
It can last less and focus on specific areas
If you want me to incorporate Deep Tissue techniques into my session, ideally do not put cream or oil on the day of the appointment .
For people with no medical contraindications or acute pain, no operation less than 6 months old, no inflammation of the skin or joints, no heart problem, etc. It is through a preliminary interview that we will validate together your possibility of receiving these techniques.
“I feel like I've been deeply cleansed and all my muscles have been re-energized. The massaged areas took on a new breath, a new breath, a dynamic.
Moreover, time no longer seemed to exist in this slow, deep and continuous movement.

“Appreciating the strong massages, I really liked it. It left me with an impression of sloughing off.”

I had the privilege of receiving a "Deep tissue" massage by Béatrice. This very deep and intense massage allowed me to feel the density of my body. I recommend this technique to athletes, dancers... it is a tissue repair treatment. And I appreciated the presence, the precision of the gestures and the benevolence of Béatrice. Thank you for this moment.

An incredible massage! Deep, powerful, liberating
Not to miss !!!
A great mastery from Béatrice
I had the chance to test the "Deep tissue" massage with Béatrice.
It was a different experience from more classic massages because it is a slow and very deep massage. Béatrice had explained it to me well and was attentive to my well-being during this lovely moment.
At the end, I felt both relaxed and energized which is very nice.
A few days later, the profit is still there.
I recommend without reservation.
